bullet Independent volunteers to promote recycling of aluminum cans for the animals. 
  
bullet Volunteers to give humane education programs at school  and civic events and to assist at festival booths. 
  
bullet Volunteers to Search  Garage Sales for donated cages and materials for humane societies and wildlife rehabilitation centers. 
  
bullet Donations of a gift subscription of  pet or animal related magazines or from other organizations so we can keep current on national issues to share with the public.  (Look at Book Stores or in the back of magazines for ideas.) 
  
bullet Artistic volunteers to create display boards, murals, etc. at the Shelter and at community events
  
bullet Volunteer to develop a "corps" of volunteers interested in helping animals.
  
bullet Donations of pet foods, supplies, litter, shampoos, flea sprays, etc.
  
bullet Donations of bird seeds, cages, for wildlife rehabilitation centers that help with orphaned or injured wildlife.
  
bullet Volunteers to collect old blankets & towels at garage sales to make pet beds.
  
bullet Adopt a teacher or librarian with "KIND NEWS" from the HSUS, ASPCA & other humane publications.
  
bullet Volunteers for clerical work on computers. i.e. typing licenses, filing, copying, etc.
  
bullet Volunteers to help clean kennels.

bullet Volunteers to phone on possible matches for the Lost & Found Pet Program and Check-backs on Pet Adoptions.

bullet Volunteers to contact hunters and fishermen to donate fish, meat, produce for the wildlife rehab centers.
 
bullet Foster homes for domestic pets until permanent homes cant be found. * Requires record keeping and contracts.
